As part of our continuing mission to support the vitality of Historic Downtown Florence, we are employing updated communications tools, such as this site, to inform and educate residents and visitors on the value of choosing Downtown Florence as an entertainment and shopping destination.
The site will be regularly updated and filled with information of interest to both DFU members and the public. With continued support of the City of Florence, the Florence/Lauderdale Tourism Department, the University of North Alabama and the Florence Main Street Program, DFU is committed to serve the needs of its members while promoting economic growth in Downtown Florence. DFU will continue to organize special events such as First Fridays Florence, while creating new and interesting ways to bring focus to the downtown area.
Also, please join us at one of our monthly meetings and see how you can help make Downtown Florence a better place to live, work and shop. We hope you enjoy the new site – and will choose to take advantage of the many benefits that DFU has to offer.
